Epic's third collaboration with AJ Hackett for the NZIPA Challenge held at Smiths Craft Beer House in Queenstown. The rules for this challenge are to be a new beer using only New Zealand ingredients. Even though they haven't put it on the label Epic have used 100% organic NZ grown barley and organic NZ grown Nelson Sauvin hops. They wanted to make a tasty and delicious, yet highly drinkable beer which celebrates the best NZ organic ingredients they could get hold of. Even though it is hoppy, it isn't crazy hoppy like some of Epic's other beers. It is 7.2% and it still has a fair amount of hops in the aroma and flavour.

Stay Frosty - Cold IPA is a chill brew. One where you can just relax and enjoy life. A carefully contemplated sip will take you on a wonderful journey of flavours that will satisfy any IPA drinker. Warm fermented with a lager yeast, and dry hopped early in fermentation helps deliver the unique yet highly satisfying flavours from the Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra hops. Very pale colour, light body, dry and bitter finish and explosion of hop flavours. Take a sip. Close your eyes and say Aaaahhhhhh.

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Super Zero! Swooping in to save the day is Super Zero, Epic's brand new non-alc IPA. This brave brew is saving civilians all across New Zealand thousands of dollars in Uber fees, whilst simultaneously using its super strength to maintain the integrity of a full flavoured IPA.

Tilt is a term used in playing pinball. It is when you have hit the table/flipper too hard. Which could be the same said for this hazy IPA when it hits your palate, it will tilt your mind with the hop flavour hit from the El Dorado hops. El Dorado is known for delivering a big pineapple and tropical fruit flavours. Chinook also gives hints of pineapple too, and Mosaic is just an around fruit bomb of a hop.
