The sub-region of Bannockburn has consistently produced stunning world class Pinot in its most finest form, and therefore Kelly Washington went on a mission to source fruit from a stunning little pocket of old vines up in the Bannockburn Hills. Fully expressing the vintage, and the site, this Bannockburn Pinot Noir exudes notes of ripe black cherries, dried herbs and savoury notes of forest floor. An evocative wine that is rich, textured and structured yet elegant and refined. A fine wine to age but also drinking beautifully now.

A medium bodied Merlot with rich fruit and supple tannins, with a nice touch of mocha and underlying spicy, toasty oak.

A lovely expression of blackcurrants and crushed raspberries on the nose, fresh and fruity on the palate.

It is nicely ripe and gently lifted on the nose showing dark cherry, sweet strawberry, mixed spice and dried herb notes. The palate displays juicy fruit flavours and smooth texture, leading to a lengthy fruity finish.

The nose has intense aromas of red fruits and spice, with subtle pepper and garrigue notes. The spice-tinged red fruits continue on the palate, which is medium-bodied and has a pleasing length.

You read Chianti, and you think of the hills, villages, parish churches and farmhouses where time has stood still since the peak era of beauty and taste, keeping them intact and authentic. This Chianti has a deep ruby colour, with reasonable depth and 'legs' indicating good structure. Perfumes of cherries and fresh red fruit, mingle with spicy, peppery notes. Lively and fresh in the mouth, with soft, rounded tannins. Good intensity, attractive structure and fine, long length.

The southern hairy-nosed wombat is stout and robust, perfectly adapted to the harsh environment in which it lives. Like the might of the little wombat, Hairy Nose is crafted from premium regional South Australia fruit from established vineyards that deliver character and interest well above their size and weight. This Pinot Noir is a bold, great expression of the variety. Made in a hands off manner with generous aromas of vanilla bean, red berries and Autumn leaves with a hint of spicy oak. The palate is polished and precise with good complexity and concentration. Pair with mushroom risotto.

The southern hairy-nosed wombat is stout and robust, perfectly adapted to the harsh environment in which it lives. Likewise, the thick, gnarled vineyards of McLaren Vale produce small bunches of intensely flavoured grapes from the ancient soils and dry climate. This is a bold red wine that is rich with dark and red berry flavours. The presence of berries from older vines deliver blackberry plum flavours with vanilla, milk chocolate and fresh leather on the palate. The mouth-feel is plush and cuddly with velvety tannins and a long finish.

Nice, vibrant ruby red colour. Sweetly scented and classically "Martinborough" with a nice balance of red cherry, pretty florals and savoury, earthy notes. A delicious array of ripe and succulent red berry/cherry flavours and layers. Lovely spice and quite a lot of fruit and oak sweetness on the finish, complimented nicely by silky tannins and delicate acidity. Nice, fresh and youthful Pinot Noir expression. Great drinking now and will cellar nicely for 5 plus years. Food match with braised rabbit pappardelle.
